"Hi my name is Erick Lin. I had initially joined C2E because I needed experience and volunteer hours for school. It was really for all the worldly desires I thought I wanted, but ELOHIM had other plans for me. I started with C2E as a teachers helper for a Project-Based Learning Class, and I’m leading the Work Force planning division of C2E group. I work with others to get a industrial panel shop and PLC wall set up for training, helping to sell donated electrical parts to raise funds, managing the technicians we send to project site, and managing the finances of this division. The skills and experience I have gained from C2E is far more than what I could have gained from school. The experience I have gained has put me ahead of my peers by quite a few year. However, all that pales in comparison to the spiritual understanding I have gained from being a part of C2E. I accepted CHRIST during my junior year of high school. There were ups and downs, but I eventually learned to follow ELOHIM’s calling and what HE wanted for me. C2E has been a blessing for me by giving all the experience the world can offer while not compromising what is most important: my relationship with my heavenly FATHER."
I joined C2E after my sister Ana was the first intern to join. It was after 7th grade that I started volunteering at the Summer Camp that I began to help teachers and learn work ethics. Over time my responsibilities changed as I grew my interests in different work fields. It started as a helper in Summer Camp to a helper in the Daycare, then after as an assistant in finance learning how money is handled in a business. Then while doing that I started doing payroll and understanding rates, income, tax. After, I was moved to Administrative Assistant, which dealt with employee paperwork and student papers. Now I am a music teacher, learning to be a lead teacher, developing a STEAM class for Pre-K to Kindergarten students. As I am with C2E I am achieving most of my hopes which are understanding the different aspects of music, strengthening my skills as a teacher, and doing my part in GOD's plan. Since being with C2E, I have gained more confidence and skills and have also improved my relationship with GOD. Now I am living on my own and learning to be an adult, I am also preparing for college.
My name is Ezana Gebru, and I joined C2E in 2020, a pivotal chapter in my professional life. This opportunity came through the Work-Based Learning (WBL) program at Meadowcreek High School, marking the beginning of an exhilarating adventure.
With C2E, I was privileged to work alongside a group of dynamic interns, immersing ourselves in the fundamentals of IT. Our journey extended beyond the classroom, taking us across the country to delve into the intricate world of mechanical drawings and audits—a tapestry of learning and discovery.
My aspirations with C2E are twofold. Firstly, to gain invaluable real-world experience, a stepping stone in my career path even before obtaining my degree. Secondly, to witness personal growth and development, not just in skills and knowledge, but in adapting to the demands and challenges of the professional world.
C2E has been transformative, a catalyst that has propelled me into the real world. It’s an experience that allows me to witness firsthand my evolution into a professional well-equipped environment to thrive in the workforce. Moreover, it's a journey shared with my team, as we collectively grow and evolve, ready to make our mark in the world.
Hi, my name is Timothy O'Connor. Currently, I'm in 8th grade and go to Still Waters International Academy. I joined C2E as an academically thriving but ill-experienced 5th grader. C2E noticed how well I was doing in school and wanted to allow me the opportunity to use that knowledge. After consulting my parents, I agreed and since then have gained a lot. Currently, I have been supporting the technological aspect of many projects. So far, I've worked with 3D printers, Raspberry Pis, Python Coding, IT work, etc. The different projects and jobs I've been on are Automated Hydroponics System, supporting IT, Botley Coding Class, supporting SWIA Newsletter, etc. Through C2E, I hope to gain real-world work experience and find out what I want to do for GOD and his people. C2E has helped me mature in my work and my spiritual life. Since starting in 5th grade, I've let down people and failed plenty of projects, but I've learned from those mistakes for the better. My work ethic has improved (and can still), while my knowledge of how projects and real-world work has increased. Most importantly, I've realized that my compassion, humility, and reaching out to others are supposed to be on par with CHRIST's standard of excellence. In Mark 8:36 it highlights the importance of not gaining the whole world in return for no soul. I am extremely thankful C2E hasn't given up on me and hope to continue the project as long as I can.
